Design systems at multi-market scale.

I am an Expert UX/UI Designer at Geopost. I own the design system strategy across more than 50 countries, for web, for mobile, and for the handhelds delivery drivers carry.
For the past year I have been rebuilding that system so an agent can operate it correctly.
- Cube - A design system for 50+ markets, rebuilt twice for two different kinds of users.
- AI in practice - Figma to production tokens, and the parts the model got wrong.
- MyDPD Pro - A shipping tool for small companies that need business features with the ease of use of a consumer app.
How I work
I design for the people who consume the system, not for the system. A design system is a product and its users are designers and developers. Most of the hard calls I have made came from noticing that the people on the other end of the library had changed.
I would rather fix the process than the handoff. Tokens, contribution rules, documentation and tooling do more for consistency than any amount of redlining. What I hand a developer is a Figma file and documentation clear enough that they can build without coming back to ask me what I meant.
I read code well enough to be useful and I do not pretend further. I follow HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React, I review generated output, and I check what comes back from a build. I do not write production front end, and a design system is better off when the person who owns it is clear about that line.
